Google Picasa
12-03-07
I have been archiving all of my pictures on Google's Picasa service, which is attached to my account (Gmail, Spreadsheets, Analytics, etc). It allows me to rapidly tag and comment
my photos and then upload them to my web album. For example, I commented and uploaded all of the wedding and San Francisco pictures from 2 weekends ago in about 35 minutes (including
a batch edit for maximal color and brightness). Nifty. I recommend it.(Note to self: investigate paid Google sponsorship)
Here is the link for future reference to the home page where all of my picture albums are at.

California, Day 3
3-15-05
Today we drove to the Pacific Ocean, Huzzah!! Picking up some Krispy Kreme along the way ( to my obvious enjoyment), we first stopped at Casa de Fruta in Hollister, CA. This is a huge fruit, nuts, and sweets complex over several acres. The selection was so expansive, and with free samples, we didn't leave hungry. Then, we drove to the Monterey Bay area, stopping at Marina State Beach in Marina, CA. I rolled up my pants, and got my feet wet in the freezing cold water. Then, the rest of the pictures are of Monterey and our desperate surge to make it around Lover's Outlook to get pictures of the sunset before it dissapeared.
California, Day 2
3-14-05
Cold, windy, rainy day in the greater Fresno County area. We decided to brave the weather and salvage the day. Everything was closed on Tuesdays, including the Cat Haven, but we drove up into some pretty mountains. Even a Texaco at the foothills of the Sierra Nevada.....whoa. After we came back to Fresno, we made a brief hiatus to Woodward Park, a pretty park next to Julie's apartment complex. Dodging sprinting sport teams and dedicated joggers, we took some pictures of the San Joaquin River Basin.
California, Day 1
3-13-05
Here are some pictures of the California Trip that I have made to Fresno thus far. Included are pictures of the famous Blossom Trail, where all the fruit trees are in bloom along the road now, and a cool sunset from underneath some palms.
Gene's Birthday, Sunset, and Jazz Night
2-15-05
Leah and I now own a brand spanking new camera, purchased with the funds from our eBay endeavours. Here are a few pictures that we have taken with it recently. The first is of a sunset on the way home a couple weekends ago. There were more, but the rest turned out kinda blurry, as they were from a moving car. Some of the others are of a little birthday party for Gene at the Jimisons, and finally, a Jazz Night @ Grace that Leah attended with her roommate and friends.
Disco-tastic Field Museum
1-26-05
These are just a few pictures from my trip to the Field Museum in Chicago, and Disco-tastic Skate Night at Grace. Leah's roommate Anna, her
boyfriend Justin, and Leah's friends Megan and Stephanie joined us in full 1970's attire. Props to the girls for dress on this one.
As a side note, these are quite small and bad quality pictures, as they were taken from Facebook. I hope to begin using a camera of my own again.
(Happily, I think it may have started to work again).
Christmas 2005
12-26-05
Pictures from the Christmas Eve and Day gatherings that Leah and I attended. Included are pictures from dinner at Eastbank Emporium,
Christmas Eve at my parent's house, Christmas Morning, Christmas Dinner @ my parent's house, and the gift exchange at the Jimisons.
These pictures are all from Mom & Dad's new camera, and Leah's camera, since mine bit the dust not long ago.
Thanksgiving 2005 Part 3
11-27-05
Part 3 of Thanksgiving Holiday Weekend Pictures. These pictures are mostly of the Christkindlmarket at the Daily Plaza and the Sears Tower (both in Chicago, of course).
Thanksgiving 2005 Part 2
11-27-05
Part 2 of Thanksgiving picture posts. Here are some more pictures of the Thanksgiving Holiday Weekend. Included are some pictures that I didn't take, from
Julie and Melinda. If anyone has a complaint about a picture being up here, take it up with me. I outweigh everyone in our family, so I'm ready to rumble.
Some of these are slightly out of order, but are mostly pictures of the family and Thanksgiving Day.
Thanksgiving 2005 Part 1
11-27-05
Part 1 of Thanksgiving picture posts. I took over 120 pictures this weekend, so there are a few more on the way, even after weeding out the dark and distorted ones.
This particular set is mostly city scapes that I took, that don't really fit into any particular category. More pictures coming from Marshall Fields,
Sears Tower, and Thanksgiving Day.
Halloween 2005
10-31-05
Some pictures of the days surrounding Halloween 2005. Manduka wedding, pumpkin carving and fun decorations.
Fall @ Grace College
10-22-05
Here are a few pictures of the many beautiful scenes of fall at Grace College. Gorgeous, large oaks, Westminster Hotel, and the company wasn't too bad either.
